UK Government 'stops' Iraq war book from publication

Sir Jeremy Greenstock who was London's ambassador to the U.N during the Build up to the Iraq war has written a book "The Costs of War" and this memior was due for public release this september.

in the book sir Greenstock describes the decision by the United States to go to war as "politically illegitimate"

but the british government has delayed publication citing "privileged conversations with Prime Minister Tony Blair have been violated"

it seems the book will only be cleared for publication once the author removes portions of the book that draw on private conversations with Blair and Foreign Secretary Jack Straw.
