'Police knew the underground would be attacked yesterday'

The Daily Mirror is claiming that Londons 'scotland yard' had prior knowledge of yesterday's attack

The paper states that an informant gave police 'certain information' that suggested an attack this week. but the 'informant' was unable to give more details on times or locations

It seems the police concluded that the attack would be Thursday as it would match with the attack two weeks ago

The underground was flooded with 'undercover armed police' yesterday and armed units were dispatched(to Farringdon station) but were unable to get there in time

Also of note in the Mirror story is an unconfirmed police statement "They think the terrorists may have not yet been fully trained but were sent into action anyway"
